Cecilia Avila, a fall 2020 computer science graduate, is among 20 Chicago-area professionals selected for the first round of Gender Equality in Tech fellowships. She will spend the next nine months working with other fellows to propose solutions to improve the professional and personal lives of people from underrepresented groups in the tech world, especially women.
