Everyone’s favorite interchange
When Diana Briones, BS ’17, began her civil engineering degree, she’d walk to and from campus while observing construction on Chicago’s Jane Byrne Interchange that had just begun. More recently, as an engineer at TransSmart/EJM Corporation, she analyzed detour routes for the junction to create more efficient traffic during the home stretch of improvements.
