Summer/Fall 2026 Advance Registration / Advising Week Information

All College of Engineering students are required to complete advising with their faculty advisor prior to registering for Summer/Fall 2026  courses.  An advising hold will be placed on the record of each Engineering student which will prevent them from registering until they complete advising with their faculty advisor.

Advising Week Dates:

March 16 to March 20  (Week 10 of the term)

  • CS or Data Science; Students receive an email by Week 5 of each semester from their assigned advisor, with information on how to meet and the mandatory advising requirements they must complete prior to registration. To avoid missing important updates, please add filters to your email to ensure messages from your advisor are not overlooked.
  • CS+Design; students are required to have a mandatory advising session with their advisor. College Advising Holds will be removed once you have met with your advisor.

 Advising for Undeclared Engineering Majors:

Undeclared students should complete mandatory advising for Summer/Fall 2026 with their COE Advisor based on the first letter of their last name. Check iAdvise for available appointments.
