The hard working Engineering World Health team was able to push through and achieve official Performance Certification for Laminar Airflow Equipment from LabMetrics, Inc.!
The device they’ve built meets the same performance specifications as commercial hoods used in pharmacies, laboratories, and hospitals. We leave Friday for Nhi Dong 1 Women and Children’s Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam with the goal of gaining device acceptance at the hospital and building additional units in the future. Congratulations to these hard-working students, and also for going far above and beyond to support this projects, a special thank you to Eric Schmidt and Ed Paligreeni.
